Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter Picker to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of designated public areas. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for visitors by ensuring spaces remain free of litter and waste.
Key Responsibilities
* Empty public bins in designated areas to maintain cleanliness and visual appeal
* Pick up litter and debris from around the area, including car parks and paths
* Use litter-picking equipment and machinery safely, following all safety guidelines
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, contributing to overall site safety
* Promptly report any equipment faults or damages to reduce downtime
* Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and professionally as required
* Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high performance
Requirements
* Excellent levels of physical fitness
* Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely
* Strong attention to detail and personal responsibility
* Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
