About the Role
As a Product Designer you will create impactful, user-centred digital products for Financial Advice firms. Working for the Product Design Lead you will be involved in every step of the process from discovery to final design.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers and Testers designing products and client/user experiences, which places the needs and understanding of clients at the heart of everything we do making Aberdeen the best partner for Financial Advisers through seamless self-serve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Create unified end to end experiences conforming to the design standards including accessibility, guidelines, and best practices.
5. Work with the Lead Designer to create user personas, user research and an A/B testing framework.
6. Use usability data, conduct user research, usability testing and competitor analysis to gather insights for product improvements.
7. Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualise design concepts and bring them to life.
8. Develop high-fidelity designs and UI components that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
9. Maintain and contribute to a design system to ensure a consistent experience across all products.
10. Collaborate with Analysts, Engineers and Testers and provide clear design specifications to ensure seamless execution.
11. Collaborate within the Design team to ensure sharing of knowledge, quality and consistency across all products, and brand consistency.
12. Represent and advocate for the Design team at all levels of the business and maintain strong internal and external stakeholders.
About the Candidate:
13. Experience as a product designer, UX design or UI designer ideally
14. Strong portfolio showing user focussed design work from research to high fidelity designs.
15. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD or similar
16. Understanding of design systems and accessibility standards.
17. Enthusiastic about integrating user research and feedback into the design process.
18. A collaborator, who enjoys working with cross-functional teams (Product, Analysis, and Engineering)
19. Curious, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve user experience.
