Quality Engineer

* Salary circa £40,000 dependent on experience

Hours
* Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 5:00pm with a 1pm finish every Friday
The role of Quality Engineer:
* Completing FAIRs, ISIRs and associated customer quality documentation to support production and new product introduction activities
* Leading root cause investigations, 8D activities and corrective actions relating to internal and external non-conformances
* Conducting internal and supplier audits whilst supporting customer and third-party audit activities
* Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and purchase orders to ensure customer requirements fully understood and achieved
* Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal Quality Engineer:
* Previous experience working within a Quality Engineer position within an aerospace environment
* Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems
* Experience completing FAIRs, ISIRs and customer quality documentation packs
* Proven experience leading root cause investigations using 8D, 5Y or similar methodologies
* Experience conducting internal audits and supporting customer or supplier quality activities
