Cardiac Physiologist - EP (Bank) The Park Hospital Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £30.00per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Duties of this role include: Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring. Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments. Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies. Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines. Accurately document all tests and results in patient records. Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all cardiology equipment. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice. Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations. A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics. Device qualification. Must be EP trained.
