On behalf of our client we are looking for experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join their team on ongoing basis.
Based in HU3 and HU7 areas.
You’ll be working on doing product deliveries locally in a safe and professional manner. It’ll be your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is properly loaded, safe and in-line with road and transport legislation.
Hold a drivers digital tachograph card and a valid drivers CPC.
In addition to driving the truck and keeping within all regulations, part of your duties will be assisting to load / unload the truck by hand. A level of physical fitness is required. You will be representing the company directly with our customers and keep company vehicles neat and tidy. It is imperative that our customers have a good experience with us, to retain repeat business.
It would be preferred for insurance purposes if applicants had no more than 6 points on your their licence without the following conviction codes - AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT or UT. However this is not essentail.
Working Monday to Friday, shift 7:30am til 4:30 pm, Friday till 2pm.
