Our client is based in the heart of Nottingham, and they are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work closely with the Civils Director to help build the team and deliver creative, efficient, and innovative projects across the UK.

The role:
Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
Work closely with the Civils Director to help build and grow the engineering team, providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Oversee the production of technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and tenders.
Support the Director with strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management.
Play an active role in driving innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
About you:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferably Chartered or working towards Chartership).
Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, flood risk, site investigations, and transportation.
Strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Experience in managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.
A proactive, solution-oriented approach to project delivery.
