You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing to deliver a compliant, data-informed Health & Safety service across our organisation Role: Health and Safety Partner Location: Hybrid – some of the duties can be carried out from home but there is an expectation to attend offices and services as required. Hours: 37 Salary: £36,000pa Contract: Permanent What you’ll do: Be the first point of contact for everyday health & safety queries, helping us respond quickly and effectively. Conduct audits, inspections and investigations, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement. Use data to inform risk management plans and help colleagues develop robust risk assessments. Support the delivery of statutory and bespoke health & safety training. Build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors, local authorities and housing associations. Champion Cartrefi’s values of honesty, trust, kindness, respect and wellbeing in everything you do. What we’re looking for: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and Technical IOSH membership. Experience in health & safety, ideally within the social care sector. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Commitment to teamwork, flexibility and personal development. Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable.
