GSL Education are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Sheffield (S11) area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver tailored lessons and create an inclusive learning environment that supports every child’s progress and well-being. Responsibilities as a SEN Teacher : Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs. Differentiate teaching materials and approaches to suit varied learning abilities. Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to promote positive engagement and progress. Monitor, assess, and record pupil development in line with school policies. Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and other professionals. Requirements for SEN Teacher : Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils is essential. Strong understanding of differentiated learning and behaviour management strategies. A caring, patient, and resilient approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
