Senior Employment Counsel (In-House)

£150K-£175K + bonus
London - fully office based
The role:
* Provide practical, commercially focused advice on employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with local external counsel where necessary.
* Oversee and manage employment disputes and litigation globally, ensuring effective resolution strategies.
* Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and handbooks to ensure compliance and consistency.
* Advise on data protection and privacy issues related to employee data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
* Support HR and leadership on organisational changes, including redundancies, transfers, and integration projects.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external law firms, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality legal support.
* Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver proactive solutions that align with company culture and strategic objectives
The requirements:
* Qualified lawyer
* Experience advising on employment matters across UK/EMEA, including managing disputes and complex workforce issues.
