This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term position offering the chance to inspire the next generation of scientists. About the Role: Design and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum. Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love for scientific exploration, critical thinking, and practical skills. Guide students in developing a strong understanding of key scientific concepts through engaging and interactive lessons. Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable). Stay abreast of advancements in the scientific field and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science department and contribute to school-wide events. We Seek a Candidate Who: Possesses a valid QTS in Science or a relevant Science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc.). Demonstrates a fervent passion for science and a captivating teaching style. Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management. Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
