YOUR ROLE
* Working in conjunction with the responsible pharmacist, to provide accurate final checking and technical assistance in the supply of medicines.
* To provide advice on the use of those medicines along with general advice on healthy lifestyles.
* To supervise and perform duties associated with the control and management of pharmacy systems and prescription dispensing.
* To closely supervise the work of Pharmacy Technicians and dispensary team to ensure they are able to perform their duties efficiently and correctly.
* To answer queries on the supply and availability of medicines, where it is within their competence.
* To liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care.
* To assist with the provision of Monitored Dosage Systems.
* To assist with the engagement of patients onto advanced services and assist with the provision of those services where appropriate.

Personal specification:
* Qualified to level 3 NVQ, BTEC or Diploma in pharmacy service skills and pharmaceutical science.
* Registered with GPhC and compliant with standards for pharmacy practice.
* Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Excellent team working skills.
* High level of IT literacy and numeracy.
