About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll be a key support to the wider finance function, helping ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. This hands-on role will help you build strong foundations in transactional finance, with responsibilities including:
* Collecting monthly statements from stock suppliers and chasing any missing documentation
* Matching invoices and credit notes against supplier statements
* Creating and issuing query sheets for disputed or incorrect invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements with internal records and preparing supplier payment sheets
* Supporting the Finance Manager with cash posting and general administrative tasks
* Handling incoming calls, directing queries, and providing support to suppliers
About You
This role is well-suited to a Finance or Accounting graduate looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment.
