Job Title: History Teacher Location: Rotherham (S65, S66) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you enjoy teaching History and helping students develop an understanding of the past and its impact on the present? GSL Education are searching for a knowledgeable History Teacher to work in Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons. As a History Teacher, you will help students explore key historical events, societies, and themes through high-quality lessons that encourage critical thinking and curiosity in a supportive classroom environment. Key Duties: Deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach topics such as significant historical events, periods, and societies. Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking skills. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
