About the role
As an Electrician Apprentice, you’ll have the chance to learn and develop essential skills in the electrical trade. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working alongside qualified electricians.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
1. Assisting with the installation of electrical systems and components in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
2. Supporting maintenance, testing, and repairs to ensure systems are safe and efficient
3. Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
4. Helping with troubleshooting and identifying faults in electrical systems and components
5. Working collaboratively to ensure compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and building codes
6. Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on electrical installations
7. Using a variety of tools and equipment safely to complete tasks
8. Keeping accurate records and documentation of work completed

Qualifications
16. To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English
17. You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
