We’re looking for a reliable, experienced care assistant with flexibility to work across the week and weekends.
If you have experience as a domiciliary carer, healthcare assistant, or have worked in a care home or hospital, we’d love to speak with you about joining our visiting care team in the St Albans area. There is also potential for a new client in High Wycombe, so travel to this area may be required for a short period. We pay for your travel and the time spent traveling.
When you work with Cherished Home Care, you support clients to stay in their cherished homes, providing care that promotes independence and choice through tailored one-to-one support, often to older adults. The role is fulfilling and rewarding.

About the role:
Visiting clients in their homes as a domiciliary carer with a minimum call duration of 1 hour. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting with personal care.
* Administering medication.
* Light housework and meal preparation.
* Assisting with appointments, social outings, and hobbies.
* Providing specialized care for conditions like dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, and end-of-life care.
Candidate requirements:
* Own vehicle and driving license.
* Household management skills.
* Reliability and punctuality.
* Ability to work effectively within allocated time.
* Teamwork and IT skills.
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
