Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £32,000per annum


Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for three Graduate Engineers to join our growing team in September 2026.
In particular, we’re looking for:

* Graduates with robust technical knowledge of their relevant degree.
* Graduates who, through their courses, have undertaken learning in the area of safety management. This may have included consideration of hazard identification techniques, understanding the concept of risk and risk management in design and operation, assessment of functional safety, and the development of Safety Cases for safety critical items of equipment.
* Graduates who can recognise the commercial and technical opportunities of working within a small growing company and are happy to take on challenges in all aspects of the business, including business development and financial management, in addition to the core technical tasking.
* Graduates who are self-starters and are able to work effectively both within a team and individually.


You will:

* Have a smart, professional appearance and approach and will be able to fit quickly into a small flexible team.
* Need to provide clients with a high level of assurance that they are being supported by a professional, responsible and caring employee.
* Have excellent communication skills and a high standard of English grammar supported with a sound technical engineering background.
* Need to be highly effective in organising your own time and workload.
* Have the ability to gain UK security clearance.


Qualifications and Experience:

* Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant subject;
* Previous work experience, e.g. summer placement in a relevant role is desirable but not essential.


What will you be doing?

A graduate is expected to be competent in their technical field and proactively support the breadth of business activity, from bid support through to technical project delivery as guided by senior staff. Inquisitive self-starter willing to be involved in a broad range of projects and activities.


Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

* Proactively support technical input to company projects as directed/guided by the Project Manager and or Senior Staff, within the time scales and technical quality agreed.
* Support the Project Manager in the management of relevant projects.
* Support client meetings under the supervision of the Project Manager and or Senior Staff.

Business Development

* Support Bid Managers in the development of proposals as directed, within the time scales and technical quality agreed.
* Support Business Development activities as requested by the Chief Business Development Officer and/or Account Managers.

General

* Uphold and apply all company policies and adhere fully to company policies, systems, processes and timetable.
* Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel and able to write to a high standard in English.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in support of articulating complex problems.
* Able to support projects away from the office, with some travel required predominantly within the UK, but with potential for some foreign travel.
* Act with the highest professional integrity in all situations, in accordance with company and relevant professional institution standards.
* Actively progress development towards achieving Charteredor similar status of a relevant profession institution, including maintaining a Personal Development Plan and following our Graduate Development Scheme.

* A basic salary in the range of £32,000 gross per annum
