 Location: Bishops Stortford Business Centre
 Hours: 9:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
 Pay: £12.21ph
 Occasional travel to Stevenage required to cover reception

Key Purpose of Role
 This role is the primary front-of-house position at our Bishops Stortford business centre. As the Receptionist and Client Support Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. You'll also have the opportunity to gain experience in client acquisition and retention, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a business support environment.
 This position suits someone who enjoys working independently, but can also collaborate effectively with the wider team when needed.
 Key Responsibilities Front of House
 
Provide support to on-site businesses and virtual clients. 
Greet visitors warmly and professionally to create a positive first impression. 
Assist with meeting room and hot-desking bookings via the Skedda platform. 
Handle post and email services for clients. 
Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception and communal areas. 
Conduct daily safe checks and escalate maintenance issues as needed. 
Act as a trained First Aider and Fire Warden, including weekly fire alarm tests and record-keeping. Client Retention & Customer Support
 
Build strong relationships with clients to ensure they feel valued and supported. 
Deliver exceptional customer service across all communication channels. 
Respond to client queries and requests within one working day. 
Manage key and fob issuance/cancellation with urgency and accuracy. 
Maintain accurate internal movement logs for monthly billing. 
Chase overdue invoices and support financial administration. 
Ensure GDPR-compliant record keeping and client data management. 
Assist in planning and delivering client engagement events. Client Acquisition
 
Respond to new enquiries within one hour of contact. 
Maintain accurate logs of leads, viewings, and quotations. 
Upsell services and products to maximise revenue. 
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to promote the centre and its offerings. Additional Responsibilities
 
Occasionally travel to our Stevenage site to provide reception cover.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
Strong organisational and administrative abilities. 
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative. 
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
Experience in a front-of-house or client-facing role is desirable. 
Familiarity with booking platforms and CRM systems is a plus. 
Full UK driving licence required for travel between sites
