ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Analyst Grade 1 to support their General Microbiology department at ALS Coventry.

Day to Day
* Understand customer requirements.
* Ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively following all process, procedures and legislation.
* Deliver on key performance indicators.
* Report analytical data.
* Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening.
* Assist team members to achieve work objectives.
* Proactively ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Essentials
* Qualifications required are 5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above to include Science, Maths and English, and preferably an A level or equivalent in a scientific subject.
* Light microscopy experience is an essential requirement.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Computer literate.
* Great collaborator.
* Ability to plan and organise own work area.
* Client-driven.
