Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Warrington

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Warrington area is looking to appoint a caring and proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing team and make a real difference in children's educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to pupils with a variety of SEN needs, both within the classroom and during small group or one-to-one sessions.
* Assist in delivering differentiated learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
* Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and confidence through consistent support.
* Contribute to behaviour support strategies and emotional wellbeing initiatives.
Educator Requirements:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Has an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one - This can be done through Teaching Personnel).
* Has experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
* Communicates effectively with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
* Is adaptable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education.
