Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School Food Technology Teachers to support our partner schools in Twickenham and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a range of school environments – ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their classroom practice.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and structured Food Technology lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
Ensure safe and hygienic use of kitchen equipment and ingredients
Manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment
Adapt quickly to new school settings and build rapport with students
Provide continuity of learning during staff absences
Opportunities for ongoing work, including short- and long-term placements
About You:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Confident delivering Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a food tech environment
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to various school settings
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A genuine passion for education and helping students develop practical life skills
Child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
