A respected specialist school located in Camberley, committed to delivering inclusive education to a varied student cohort (including mild needs such as MLD, ASD, EBD, SI and PD), is actively searching for a devoted SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide personalized assistance to students, helping them grasp new concepts, offering emotional support, and aiding in daily activities. You will work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning plans, adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual needs, and support students academically and socially.
You will also contribute to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people. Patience, empathy, and creativity are essential tools to support students’ academic progress, social skills, independence, and self-confidence.
The Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
* £90-£95 per day.
* Based in Camberley, Surrey.

Responsibilities
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse needs.
* Assist with implementing personalized learning plans and adapting resources.
* Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
* Support safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
* Offer emotional and social support to help build confidence and independence.
Requirements / Qualifications
* A clean DBS (or willingness to obtain) is essential.
* Prior experience (personal or professional) supporting SEND children is essential.
* Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, sports settings, or similar classroom environments.
* Ability to work with patience, empathy, and creativity to support learning and wellbeing.
