This role offers the chance to take a leading role in technically challenging engineering projects, from initial concept through to delivery. Youll be joining a well-established precision engineering business supplying high-integrity components to global energy and industrial sectors, contributing to the design and development of innovative mechanical products used in demanding environments worldwide. The Role Lead and coordinate engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, on spec, and within scope. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met. Create and review engineering documentation including 3D models, manufacturing drawings, calculations, and specifications. Support product development activities, contributing to the companys ambitious plan to bring multiple new product variants to market over the next five years. Mentor junior engineers and act as deputy to the Engineering Manager when required. About You Degree (or HNC/HND) in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience within a design-for-manufacture engineering environment. Skilled in AutoCAD, Inventor, and ideally ANSYS or other FEA tools. Strong understanding of materials, design, and manufacturing methods in line with API / ASME standards. Excellent communicator with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
