About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Endoscopy Lead Nurse to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the outskirts of Ashford ,Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Endoscopy Lead Nurse to join a experienced and friendly team. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. They pride themselves on their latest technology and safe and infection free work environment. The hospital has recently invested into the latest facilities and services and now offers a full range of surgical procedures and treatments. This is a great opportunity for an Endoscopy Lead Nurse to work closely with the Theatre Manager and develop their skills and experience in a supportive environment.
About the role;
You will be working as an Endoscopy Lead Nurse will be responsible for:
7. Management and activity of the Endoscopy service in line with departmental policies and practice standards
8. Ensuring effective care is provided to patients at all times
9. Supervising and developing junior members of staff
10. Ensuring high quality and cost effective care is provided
11. Working alongside Theatre manager to ensure the smooth running of the department at all times
Who we are looking for;
All applicants for the role of Lead Endoscopy Nurse must meet the following criteria;
12. Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
13. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
14. At least 2 years Endoscopy experience in the UK
15. Teaching, assessing mentorship qualification
16. Diploma/degree in management
17. Effective leadership and management skills
18. Demonstratable skills of financial awareness and knowledge of CQC and Joint Accreditation Group
