The Position
Looking for an opportunity to bring your academic experience to life and bring your people skills to a world-leading luxury hotel? Then we’d love you to join us at The Balmoral Hotel as an intern in our Human Resources department on a 6-12 month fixed term contract with an opportunity to go permanent after the internship.
You will be the first point of contact in the office welcoming all team members and management, dealing with their requests ensuring world class Scottish hospitality is delivered at all times.
You will mainly be responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of the department which will include updating and maintaining employee files, filing HR correspondence accordingly, ensuring the HR inbox is monitored, and assisting with engagement activity projects and promotional posters.
You will be a passionate professional individual and thrive on building relationships, highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to be creative. This role provides you with valuable hands-on experience for your first role in HR gaining a comprehensive understanding of the HR function and contributing to the hotel's successes.
In turn, you’ll be given ample opportunity to develop your own skills and expertise and, ultimately, your insight, commitment, and pride in your work will make you an integral part of the Rocco Forte family.
This role is office based at the hotel 5 days a week.
