Job Description
This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of aviation operations through meticulous investigations of incidents, accidents, and other safety events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting investigations into aviation occurrences, incidents, or accidents
* Deploying immediately to the aircraft/incident site, which may involve overseas travel
* Making safety recommendations to reduce the probability of recurrence
* Monitoring aviation incident reporting and proposing investigations when necessary
* Contributing to the development of processes and procedures related to investigations
* Liaising with stakeholders to address safety-related issues found in the investigation process
* Managing the Event Review Group (ERG) process
* Actively supporting and promoting the Company's Safety Management System (SMS)
Job Requirements:
* Qualified aviation safety investigator
* Experience in the aviation industry in either a safety, flight operations, or engineering role
* Experience working with SMS and aviation regulations
* Experience managing the implementation of new processes and procedures

* Self-motivated, assertive, and resilient with the ability to hold their own
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external customers at all levels
* Experienced in presenting information, both written and verbal
* Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
* Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Software and other Company Software as required
* Maintain high levels of integrity, work ethic, and confidentiality, using discretion appropriately
* Flexible to accommodate the reactive nature of the work
