About Creative Care
Creative Care offers a warm, welcoming residential setting for adults with complex care needs. Residents enjoy private flats with gardens and communal outdoor areas. Our service supports individuals with acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions, providing 24‑hour person‑centred care and encouraging independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised care supporting the physical, emotional and social needs of residents in accordance with individual care plans.
* Assist with medication administration, personal care, activities and engagement.
* Keep accurate, written reports and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and external partners.
* Mentor new staff during induction and actively participate in supervision, observation and appraisal processes.
* Maintain a safe environment, following WCL safety, safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures.
* Respond to complaints and concerns in line with WCL policy and support the Service Manager with formal complaint handling.
* Support the Service Manager with financial procedures and environmental sustainability initiatives.
* Promote resident satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with families, the community, and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Valid UK or Irish driving licence held >2 years.
* Evidence of professional development willingness and ability to learn.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and basic numerical data handling.
* Good verbal and written communication, listening skills, and interpersonal ability.
* Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults and the ability to recognise concerns.
* Experience working as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Recognised health or social care qualification or further relevant training.
* Experience supporting people with disabilities, older people, dementia or mental health needs.
* Experience with WCL transport or own transport when required.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
* Understanding of positive, person‑centred support planning.
