Card Goblin is a small but growing UK-based retailer specialising in trading cards. We sell online through our Shopify store and eBay, bringing the magic of collecting and trading to a passionate community of players and fans. As we grow, we're looking for someone to help us build our social media presence and connect with our audience in creative, engaging ways.
The Role
We're looking for a
part-time Social Media & Marketing Assistant
— perfect for students studying Media, Marketing, or Communications, who want hands-on experience in digital marketing while working with something they already love: card games.
Key responsibilities:
* Create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms (short-form video, posts, stories).
* Help develop and grow Card Goblin's brand voice online.
* Share updates on new stock, promotions, and community events.
* Monitor social media engagement and suggest creative ideas to boost reach.
* Stay up to date with trends in both social media and the trading card community

What We're Looking For
* A student (or recent graduate) studying Media, Marketing, Communications, or similar.
* A genuine passion for trading card games
(Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, or others).
* Creative mindset with a good sense of humour and eye for online trends.
* Confident with TikTok/Instagram and comfortable experimenting with content.
* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
