About the Role
As Senior MEP Manager, you will lead the MEP delivery for this high-profile scheme, reporting directly to one of our Managing Directors. You will work closely with an established team of Project Managers, Site Managers, and a commercial coordinator function, ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for MEP-related client and stakeholder communications, fostering strong relationships.
* Managing MEP subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
* Driving programme adherence, risk management, and issue resolution to deliver MEP works on time and within budget.
* Collaborating with the wider project team to integrate MEP systems with the modular construction process.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive professional with a proven track record in MEP management. To excel in this role, you will bring:
* Extensive experience managing MEP systems on large-scale construction projects (£50m+), with modular build experience highly desirable.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design and installation processes.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-focused approach.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree ammonia HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent).
* Industry certifications such as CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent are advantageous.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver under pressure.
