The Department
The Computing department is organised and forward-thinking, with shared schemes of work and clear assessment systems across KS3 and KS4.
You will be joining a team that:
* Delivers structured programming units (e.g. Python or similar)
* Teaches core computing principles and computational thinking
* Prepares GCSE Computer Science cohorts effectively
* Maintains high expectations for focus and independent work
* Collaborates closely with Maths and Science departments
There is a strong emphasis on technical accuracy and exam preparation.
The Role
As a Computing Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach programming, data representation and computer systems
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations
* Differentiate for mixed-ability classes
* Maintain strong behaviour management
* Track and monitor student progress
This is a full teaching role including planning, marking and assessment.
