We are now looking for an experienced Head of SHEQ to lead our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) strategy, ensuring compliance and best practice across all WPS operations. This is an opportunity to drive innovation in compliance, sustainability, and quality within one of the UK’s leading property services businesses.

Your Role
* Develop & lead the SHEQ strategy, embedding a culture of compliance across all WPS divisions.
* Motivate & empower the SHEQ team, ensuring high standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
* Act as the conscience of the business, ensuring legal and industry compliance is met and exceeded.
* Oversee major housing and compliance projects, ensuring smooth mobilisation and adherence to SHEQ policies.
* Monitor industry trends to introduce best practices and innovations, particularly in fire safety and retrofit.
* Represent SHEQ at board meetings, client interviews, and key business discussions.
* Manage SHEQ resources & budgets, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
What We’re Looking For
Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety and Health (CMIOSH).
Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent in the Built Environment.
Practitioner membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) (desirable).
Strong experience in housing maintenance, fire safety, and construction.
Proven leadership & influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical abilities.
Willingness to travel nationally, with occasional overnight stays.
A passionate and proactive approach to SHEQ, with a commitment to improving communities.
