An award winning Legal 200 firm based in central London is looking for a mid-level Solicitor to join their Clinical Negligence/Medical Negligence team. With a diverse caseload that includes complex inquest, psychiatric, and fatal matters, this firm has also recently gained a major medical negligence inquiry that involves aspects of mental health and negligence in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
* Conducting Clinical Negligence matters from initiation to conclusion including inquest, psychiatric, and fatal matters.
* Assist senior Partners on complex matters including national inquiries,
* Input with the development of the department and assist with the management of junior legal professionals.
* Dealing directly with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care, taking instructions and ensuring full compliance.
* Liaise with all parties including defendants, government agencies, varied courts, and other groups.
* Instructing expert witnesses and taking clients’ proofs of evidence.
* Skills and Experience:
* UK qualified Solicitor 2-5 PQE years post qualification experience (other levels will be considered).
* Strong experience with clinical negligence or medical experience matters, ideally to include inquiries.
* Strong interpersonal skills interacting with clients and colleagues.
* A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for developing their team and greater firm.
