Fabulous role for someone with an FMCG sales and marketing background. You will be working for a well-known skincare and cosmetics brand that is looking to expand its footprint in the UK. You will be promoting the brand to major retailers ( Sephora and Selfridges are already clients), setting up pitch-meetings with Purchasing teams, and also nurturing existing retail customers. Ideally you will speak KOREAN as this is a K-Beauty brand that is trending currently on Instagram and elsewhere. Lovely role ! Korean is very useful WORK STYLE : Hybrid (2 days wfh. 3 days in office ) INTERVIEWS : will occur from 1 st Sept onwards COMPANY : Major international beauty and skincare brand creating organic and natural skin products. This company is at the very cutting edge of everything K-beauty related ROLE: A mix of Business Development and Marketing Operations. This brand is sold in major retailers including Sephora Selfridges and the larger retailers and your goal will be to expand the distribution to new retailers by showcasing excellence in product, and its ability to attract additional footfall to the stores. DUTIES: You will manage up to 3 direct reports in Marketing Retail customers: Business Development (70%) Full responsibility for the brand range of skincare products, including full oversight of the P&L Approach new retailers and also lapsed clients to arrange pitch meetings with their purchasing teams Provide well researched information for detailers to help support their decision to stock the range Introduce the products and promote its benefits Work with the retailers to build a promotional plan to enhance consumer uptake Manage stock levels and assist with re-order levels for retail customers ( demand planning) Marketing operations (30%) Work closely with Marketing to create targeted marketing sales campaigns Increase brand visibility (social media influencers, email campaigns etc ) Review product training for retail store assistants so that they understand the benefits of the products Make regular store visits to check the location of the products and to discuss issues with retail assistants REQUIREMENTS Degree educated FMCG experience (7 years) Experience in managing retail sales and marketing campaigns Fluent Korean (useful )
