Job Purpose
To support the design, delivery, and documentation of patient‑centred outcomes (PCO) activities across Kyowa Kirin’s global development programmes. You will contribute to the generation of high‑quality patient experience data to inform clinical development, regulatory and HTA submissions, as well as within real‑world evidence studies. This entry level role provides an opportunity to develop foundational expertise in PCO/PRO methods while working closely with senior PCO team members to advance patient‑centred measurement within Kyowa Kirin.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct literature reviews, landscape scans, and evidence summaries to inform endpoint selection and justification
* Assist in qualitative research activities, including preparation of interview materials, transcript review, and coding
* Contribute to PRO sections of study protocols, measurement schedules, and operational documents
* Assist with descriptive summaries, basic scoring, and preliminary interpretation of PRO data under supervision
* Assist in coordinating external vendors involved in ePRO implementation, linguistic validation, instrument licensing, and similar activities
* Maintain internal databases of PRO instruments, licenses, and study‑related documentation
* Support audit readiness through strong documentation and version control practices
* Maintain an active interest in emerging methods, guidance, and best practices in patient‑centred outcomes, sharing learnings with colleagues as appropriate
Qualifications
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in psychology, public health, health outcomes, life sciences, or a related field (essential)
* Master’s degree in a relevant behavioural or health sciences discipline (desired)
* Foundational understanding of PCO/PRO concepts or health psychology
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
* Some experience in clinical research, pharma/biotech, or health outcomes research settings
* Familiarity with qualitative research methods and/or basic statistical approaches
* Experience working with PRO vendors, ePRO systems, or licensing bodies
* Ability to synthesise scientific literature and summarise key insights
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
* Proficiency in preparing clear, concise slides and documentation
