Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and cost-saving initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to make a measurable impact and play a key role in shaping procurement across the business. You’ll also oversee elements of logistics and supply chain coordination, ensuring goods flow seamlessly from supplier through to warehouse and distribution. Hours: 8:30am – 5pm
Location: High Wycombe- fully office based 5 days per week
Salary: 60k – 70k

Job description
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that ensure value for money, supplier compliance, and efficiency across the business. You’ll be the face of the organisation to many suppliers, building long-term relationships while driving cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.
* Designing and implementing innovative procurement strategies tailored to business needs.
* Leading strategic sourcing, RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
* Building strong relationships across the supplier base, with a focus on the medical/healthcare sector.
* Overseeing logistics processes, from stock control and goods-in to distribution, to ensure operational efficiency.
* Consolidating suppliers to streamline operations and reduce costs.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, particularly Sales and Finance, to align procurement goals with business priorities.
* Monitoring supplier performance and driving accountability through KPIs and formal performance plans.
Key Skills
* Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or category management.
* Confidence to implement new strategies to the business and procurement operations.
* Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency with procurement systems and data analysis tools.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
