Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join a team working on a site in Clapham. This role requires a professional and detail-focused individual, capable of working in a clean and safety-sensitive environment. Work involves both internal and external painting as part of a refurbishment project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming
* Applying emulsion, gloss, undercoat, and specialist coatings as required
* Carrying out high-standard finishing work on walls, ceilings, woodwork, and trims
* Working cleanly and efficiently within a live or semi-live hospital environment
* Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a tidy workspace
* Complying with site health and safety procedures, especially in clinical areas
* Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on commercial or institutional sites
* Valid CSCS card
* Full PPE and own tools/brushes/rollers
* High attention to detail and ability to produce quality finish work
* Reliable, punctual, and respectful of working in sensitive environments
