What you’ll do:
As HR Assistant you’ll be working to provide administrative support to the People Team at both the Severn Glocon and LB Bentely divisions.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries, escalating issues to the Divisional HR Advisors where appropriate
Maintain internal HR System, ensuring employee files are up to date and accurate
People administration such as producing offer, termination and change to terms and conditions letters
Lead and manage recruitment, including screening CVs, liasing with recrutiment agencies, conducting and scheduling interviews
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
Schedule new starter inductions and deliver Company inductions
What you’ll need:
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns with the ability to work in a discreet way
Experience managing recruitment
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (desirable)
Driving is essential to travel to both Stroud & Gloucester sites
