Role Description
We are currently looking for an Associate to join our team based in London.
Working closely with senior team members to support all aspects of real estate transaction process including sourcing, underwriting and execution. The position involves a significant role in preparation of presentations and marketing materials, underwriting and financial modeling, market research and analysis, investor communications, and client interactions.
Essential Functions
* Financial underwriting, due diligence review, and transaction execution
* Performing comprehensive and in-depth real estate, market, and corporate analysis
* Preparing presentations and other materials for clients
* Creating pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
* Developing relationships outside the firm with industry peer groups
* Supporting sales through marketing and direct interaction with clients
Education and Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. It is strongly preferred that your background includes:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Strong financial analysis, and Excel modeling skills
* Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance
* Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using financial modeling techniques
* Demonstrated ability to work under tight time frames with an attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion within agreed upon deadlines
* Willingness to work in a demanding, fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
Desired Qualifications
* Masters or MBA graduate degree preferred
* 3+ years’ experience commercial real estate experience
* Investment Banking or Real Estate Private Equity experience considered an asset
* European language skills advantageous
