Temporary DT Teacher 0.9-0.95 at Unity Schools Partnership (Samuel Ward Academy). Start Date: ASAP. Salary: MPR/UPR (£32,916 - £51,048 per annum). Contract type: Part time, temporary.
Samuel Ward Academy is looking to appoint a dynamic DT Teacher and is seeking a teacher of the highest calibre who has an excellent understanding of the subject and the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, innovative, creative and enthusiastic practitioner with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Teach Design and Technology to assigned classes in a 11-18 academy.
* Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons that engage students and raise attainment.
* Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department with a calm, respectful working environment.
* Provide progress feedback and contribute to CPD and school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status with evidence of recent, relevant experience in Design and Technology.
* Ability to motivate, challenge and inspire learners and to differentiate for varied levels of ability.
* Innovative, creative, and enthusiastic practitioner with a commitment to high outcomes.
