Job Overview
The Equity Derivatives Trade Support Specialist will provide trade support across the Equity Derivatives desks, assisting with all operational queries and bookings to ensure client service excellence and satisfaction. The role serves as a centralized contact point for the desk, sales, clients, settlements, and documentation, resolving trader‑related queries on the trading floor.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to Exotic and Flow Derivative Trading desks and equivalent sales teams across all structured products including notes, autocallables, and Monte Carlo simulation.
* Lifecycle management: monitor and book derivative payment events, barrier monitoring, corporate actions, fixings, and swap resets.
* Prepare calculation sheets for complex payoffs and ensure timely resolution of daily emails and Bloomberg chats.
* Trade maintenance: review queries, perform amendments on OTC exotic derivatives and vanilla products, and verify market data accuracy.
* Represent the group in partner group meetings and handle inter‑company, front‑to‑back, and exchange reconciliations.
Qualifications
* Experience in equity derivatives, ideally within a middle office or trade support environment.
* Strong Excel skills; proficiency in SQL and VBA.
* Degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, finance, economics, or a related field.
* Outstanding attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to provide executive summaries to multiple stakeholders.
* Team player, diligent, and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
