This practice in Wigan is currently recruiting two experienced small animal vets and is open to a variety of arrangements—whether you're seeking a full-time role, a job share, or relocating with a friend or partner.
Set in a great location with strong connections to Manchester, Liverpool, and the Lake District, this opportunity offers a mix of clinical autonomy, professional support, and true work-life balance.
The Role
You’ll be part of a well-equipped, high-standard first opinion team supported by certificate holders and a wider group of clinicians across multiple sites. The position will suit confident all-rounders comfortable with routine consults and surgeries, and open to working sole charge at times.

Who We’re Looking For
* Vets with at least 1–2 years of UK small animal experience
* Confident in routine surgery and consults
* Comfortable working sole charge when required
* Keen to contribute to a growing, progressive practice
The Offer
* Salary up to £65,000 DOE (higher for cert holders)
* 4-day working week
* 1 in 4 Saturdays (no Sundays or OOH)
* 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
