About The Team

Part of Merchant Solutions International (Worldpay), the Small-Medium Business (SMB) International team focuses on delivering payment transformation for its merchants—aiming to simplify taking, making, and managing payments.

With a strong heritage as a scale Payments Leader in the UK, we aim to leverage Worldpay's assets, relationships, and talent to support merchant growth in digital payments. We have significant ambitions and seek exceptional individuals to help us deliver for our merchants.


What You Will Be Doing

Worldpay SMB International aims to expand its distribution by partnering with top bank partners in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Commerce, you will lead efforts to identify and target bank clients with our merchant services, utilizing data and insight-driven initiatives to drive engagement and growth.


Key Objectives

* Lead collaboration with bank partners to sell Worldpay's merchant acquiring services, guiding data analysts to identify target customers and run campaigns.
* Leverage internal and external data, overseeing communication design, offers, and onboarding channels.
* Optimize using statistical and advanced analytics methods to maximize value.
* Deepen customer engagement through additional products and services.


What You'll Own

* Drive new sales and engagement by leveraging data, insights, and business capabilities.
* Develop customer segmentation and targeting frameworks to increase revenue.
* Create and optimize marketing campaigns to generate leads.
* Analyze market dynamics and customer needs across UK and European markets.
* Manage the customer lifecycle, identifying key sales levers for prospecting and onboarding.
* Establish operating models for lead generation and merchant onboarding.
* Innovate with new capabilities, channels, and propositions to grow customer businesses and revenue.


Build Effective Partnerships

* Engage with bank stakeholders to facilitate customer contact campaigns within legal/regulatory boundaries.
* Utilize the Worldpay brand to create a competitive advantage among bank clients.


Lead The Team

* Guide data analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Lead virtual and direct teams, promoting engagement and purpose.
* Develop and manage a high-performing team with strong relationships across the organization.


What You Bring

* Graduation in Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, with 10+ years of experience.
* Expertise in leveraging data analytics for strategic decision-making and market understanding.
* Hands-on coding, data manipulation, statistical modeling, and AI methods for commercial outcomes.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, experienced in managing virtual teams and senior stakeholders.
