The purpose of the role is:
Responsible for delivering and maintaining day-to-day PPM tasks, reactive and sub-contractor maintenance. Undertake the senior shift technicians role in his/her absence.
Responsibilities
1. Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems as determined by the CMMS system’s work orders.
2. Address A/C related client problems.
3. Conduct building walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s, and utilities.
4. Investigate faults, identify causes, and implement remedies.
5. Prepare accurate and timely reports as required.
6. Ensure corrective and repair works comply with current regulations.
7. Assist with installation works as needed.
8. Participate in emergency call-out roster, providing cover for weekends and team member absences, as required.
9. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings, their layouts, functions, and complexities.
10. Ensure day-to-day and future compliance with safe working practices, quality standards, and best practices.
11. Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve service levels and delivery.
12. Undertake other tasks as required by Engineering Leaders, consistent with experience and competencies.
13. Establish and develop trusting relationships with Facilities Managers, client staff, and representatives.
