Things we’re looking for in terms of more specific skill-sets and experience:
* A passion for QA, testing, and increasing product quality
* Strong knowledge of QA methodology (acceptance tests, performance tests, etc.) and tools
* Experience with analyzing both functional and non-functional requirements and attributes of a system at every stage of the product life cycle
* Experience with exploratory testing and being able to test with and without test cases
* Familiarity with the tools that agile development and QA teams use for managing their work (Jira or similar tools)
* Familiarity with automated testing or the creation of tools to assist in testing
* Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related fields
* Nice to have: Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, etc.
* Nice to have: Experience with object-oriented languages
