NSAR Approved Rail Trainer Location: West Horndon, Essex Contract Type: Employed Salary £50,000 to £54,000 Car Allowance Pension iPhone and Laptop About the Role We are seeking an experienced NSAR Approved Rail Trainer to join our growing training team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant rail training to individuals and organisations across the rail industry. This role involves the delivery of PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific competence courses, ensuring learners meet all Network Rail and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver PTS, COSS, and other rail-specific training courses Conduct both initial and refresher training Ensure all training meets NSAR, Network Rail, and Sentinel requirements Accurately complete training records and assessments Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and learner engagement Keep course materials up to date with current rail standards Essential Requirements NSAR Approved Trainer status Proven experience delivering PTS and COSS training Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and Rule Book Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage classroom and practical training effectively IT competent (training systems, reporting, online learning platforms) Willingness to travel as required Desirable (but not essential) Additional rail competencies (IWA, ES, SWL, etc.) Assessing or internal verification qualifications Experience delivering bespoke or specialist rail courses What We Offer Competitive pay rates Flexible working arrangements Ongoing professional development Supportive and professional training environment Opportunity to work with a respected rail training provider How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV and copies of relevant rail and training certifications .
