RGN/RMN Staff Nurse Job in UK Nursing Home
We're seeking an experienced and compassionate RGN or RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our elderly residents and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct care and support to residents, including administering medication and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary.
* Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for each resident.
* Supervise and manage care assistants and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for residents.
* Follow all policies and procedures to provide person-centered care.
* Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required.
* Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift.
Qualifications
* NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
* A minimum of 1‑2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs.
