As a Senior Building Services Engineer, you'll be at the heart of high-profile, sustainable building projects. You'll work directly with clients to shape their vision, guide a team of engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver innovative and environmentally responsible solutions-on time and within budget.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Develop clear, comprehensive briefs through close collaboration with clientsLead options appraisals and recommend optimum design solutionsManage and mentor engineers and graduates within the teamWork seamlessly with architects, surveyors, and structural/civil engineers
🎓 What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Engineering or Building Services (with the ambition to achieve Chartered Engineer status)Demonstrable experience managing complex construction projectsProficiency in AutoCAD, IES, NBS, lighting/cable design, and Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with Scottish Technical Standards and UK Building Regulations
Desirable:
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)Experience with renewable energy and low-carbon designKnowledge of planning and legislative frameworksExposure to ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
