Amour Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk to join our clients friendly finance team based in Waterlooville.
As a Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records of both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations across the business.
Duties include:
1. Process supplier invoices and match with purchase orders
2. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
3. Raise and issue sales invoices in a timely manner
4. Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
5. Chase overdue payments and manage credit control processes
Personal requirements:
6. Proven experience in a similar finance/accounts role
7. Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping desirable
8. Confident using Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
9. Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
Hours: Monday to Thursday 0730- 1600 Friday 0730- 1300
