Specialist Occupational Therapist – REACH Clacks and Stirling
Join NHS Scotland’s community rehabilitation team. We are looking for a creative, dynamic Occupational Therapist to support complex patients and prevent hospital admission.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment and rehabilitation programmes to complex patients.
* Support discharges and help prevent hospital admission.
* Participate in quality improvement, evidence‑based practice and in‑service training.
* Contribute to clinical supervision and appraisals of junior staff and to the development of undergraduate/pre‑reg students.
* Travel throughout the area of service delivery and prioritise fluctuating workloads.
Qualifications
* Registered Occupational Therapist.
* Experience in community assessment and rehabilitation for complex patients.
* Ability to deliver programmes, supervise junior staff, and engage in quality improvement.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to manage a busy environment.
* Compliance with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
