Buttercups Training are part of BPP Group and we are a specialist, market leading training provider within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. We have a track record of delivering high quality training programmes to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and healthcare support staff with high achievement rates. Buttercups has been awarded an NHS tender to train 1,500 foundation pharmacists every year across the Midlands, North East, Yorkshire and the North West, and we’re looking for a dynamic Programme Lead on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to help us deliver excellence at scale. In this pivotal role, you’ll support how the programme runs, ensure robust tutor coverage, and keep delivery running smoothly across the Midlands region. You’ll take ownership of the regions timetables, oversee delivery schedules, and work strategically with key stakeholders from the Foundation Training Consortium (FTC) and NHS England. What you’ll be doing Lead the teams involved in facilitating the national commission for foundation pharmacist training under the FTC, including the FTC Regional Lead for the Midlands, FTC Tutors and the Administrative Team Work closely with the FTC Co-Programme Lead to ensure consistency of delivery and operations across the consortium to meet NHS England KPIs Create, review and update standard operating procedures, to assure effective delivery of the programme, taking into account stakeholder feedback Set up and maintain regional timetables for the programme delivery schedule and ensure effective communication throughout Lead regional stakeholder feedback groups to gather insights and inform continuous improvement Ensure that the training teams are appropriately staffed and resourced Oversee the delivery management of the programme for learners, employers, internal teams, and other stakeholders. Proofread and edit training materials and arrange printing and dispatching to FTC Tutors in a timely manner Provide written and verbal monthly and quarterly KPI reporting data to key stakeholders Lead region forum groups with programme stakeholders to gain insights on the performance of the programme What we’re looking for Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience Experience of supporting pre-registration/foundation pharmacist trainees Evidence of managing a team and delivering outcomes Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of individuals Experience in scheduling and coordinating student programmes and/or events with both internal and external stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, with a basic understanding of data formatting and the ability to manipulate data for reporting purposes Knowledge of standards of education and training relating to foundation pharmacist trainees and educational supervisors Excellent clinical knowledge and proven ability to apply in practice BPP Education Group are proud to be a Disability Confident employer so if you need any reasonable adjustments for the interview process, please just let us know!
