What You’ll Be Doing:
* Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
* Manage rotas in line with sales forecasts to ensure smooth service.
* Oversee food ordering and stock control to minimise waste.
* Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes to spec, maintaining the highest standards.
* Ensure all deliveries meet quality, quantity, and freshness standards.
* Take charge of allergen procedures and ensure compliance across the team.
* Develop and contribute to new dishes and seasonal menus.
* Step up and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
* Lead by example by training and supporting the team to meet high standards.
* Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen.
* A passion for fresh, locally sourced food.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
